Dropfunnels Review – The Complete Dropfunnels Review Guide 2021

DropFunnels Sales Funnel Platform Review (2021)

dropfunnels review

Our DropFunnels review team took advantage of the DropFunnels 14-Day Free Trial so that we could get a hands-on look at the platform and to evaluate its overall strengths and weaknesses. DropFunnels is, who it’s for, and what it can do for your business. We’ll also explore some of the terms you might see associated with DropFunnels, as well as the key features of DropFunnels and how easy they are to implement.

What is DropFunnels?

DropFunnels is a multi-functional software, similar to GoHighlevel, designed by Jordan Medirich, that aims to be an all-in-one tool for building your brand, generating organic traffic to your website, and converting that traffic into sales. It offers many features that can get your business up and running, or help you expand to meet your business goals.

  • WordPress backbone.
  • Blog and website hosting.
  • Built-in SEO tools.

  • Membership site capabilities.
  • Link tracking.
  • Landing pages.
  • Premium support.
  • 14-Day Free Trial.

Dropfunnels Review : DropFunnels For?

Whether you’re trying to start a business from scratch, or you’re one of the many online business owners who are trying to grow their businesses in a competitive market, you need visibility. If your website or blog (or both) seem to be invisible on the web, DropFunnels is designed with you in mind.

DropFunnels offers an SEO optimized web page builder and powerful SEO blogging tools that will help you build full, professional websites, blogs, and sales funnels that all pull rank with major search engines. (Think Google, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo.) And because there’s no need for coding or plugins, you can do this with little or no tech knowledge. This means more organic traffic, a broader web presence, and better results with less expense and less effort.

During our research, one thing that was made absolutely clear to our DropFunnels review team was that DropFunnels wants people who take advantage of their 14-Day Free Trial to succeed. If you want to make things happen, they are there to help from step one. As an example, when I signed up for the 14-Day Free Trial, I was offered the opportunity to double my 14 days by booking a web call to help me understand the cost vs benefit of each plan as well as the features of the plan I chose and how I could get the most out of the training offered within the platform.

In short, if you’re dedicated and you want to succeed, but you’re having a hard time getting seen, you should check out the DropFunnels 14-Day-Free Trial.  It will certainly help you decide whether or not DropFunnels is for you.

Websites vs Sales Funnels.

One thing you need to know before we get into the meat of our DropFunnels review is the difference between a website and a sales funnel. They are not the same; so what are the differences, and why does it matter?

Differences and Similarities.

Websites and sales funnels share a common purpose, but the main difference between them is how users are guided through the purchase experience. Websites offer unstructured access, allowing users the freedom to explore the website aimlessly. Sales funnels, however, minimize distractions by guiding traffic in a specific direction leading ultimately to the point of sale. Think of a huge funnel with potential customers entering at the top and traveling downward toward the point of sale. There aren’t as many distractions with a sales funnel; it flows from start to finish with the direct goal of closing the sale.

Why It Matters for the Dropfunnels Platform.

Dropfunnels Review of Why It Matters for the Dropfunnels Platform

Why does this matter? Because you want a more successful business, and sales funnels help you get it. Even if your main goal is not to sell, but to inform, you can use a funnel to make sure your audience gets the information you want them to have in an efficient, effective way. Websites are important, but websites equipped with sales funnels have a greater impact.

DropFunnels For Sales Funnel And Website Development.

Now that we’ve discussed the differences between websites and sales funnels, it’s worth saying that DropFunnels has its backbone in WordPress. When you sign on with DropFunnels, you’re getting a program that will assist you with more than just setting up sales funnels. With DropFunnels, you can set up a full WordPress website that’s professional, super fast, and easy to navigate. DropFunnels also allows you to set up unlimited funnels within your website, so you can combine the best of both and get greater results from the traffic generated.

One thing our DropFunnels review team noticed is that using DropFunnels to create a WordPress site removed a lot of the obstacles to producing something that was professional and useful. With DropFunnels you don’t need to know code, and you don’t need multiple plugins. DropFunnels has integrated tools and templates to give you the look and function you need. For instance, slide bars, drop-down menus, and built-in animations are all options you can add directly in DropFunnels. Those are things that can otherwise take a lot of time stringing out in HTML or CSS.

How Easy is DropFunnels To Use?

Now that this DropFunnels review has established what DropFunnels is and who it’s for, the next question we’ll answer is how easy is this program to use? After all, who wants to invest time and effort into something that will only end in frustration?

Our DropFunnels review team looked into several main aspects of the program, and while we did discover that there is a fairly steep learning curve for people who are absolute beginners, there is so much training available for free within DropFunnels, that getting started isn’t overly difficult. That’s not to say the dashboard isn’t a little intimidating at first, but you should be able to quickly learn everything you need to get started with relative ease.

One of the things I personally appreciate about the DropFunnels platform is that the training begins as soon as you start up. You don’t have to search for help; help is immediately available. Watch the onboarding video, and you will know how and where to get the help you need.

DropFunnels Interface.

DropFunnels has a clean, easy to navigate interface. There are multiple parts to this interface, and you’ll want to be familiar with those most frequently used.

When you open DropFunnels for the first time, you’re going to be greeted by a video that explains every feature available to you on the DropFunnels dashboard. I would highly recommend you watch this video. It’s not extremely long, but it has a lot of information you will want to know. That having been said, I’ll fill you in on some of the things you can expect to find when you first enter DropFunnels.

The DropFunnels Dashboard.

Your DropFunnels dashboard is where all the actions starts. This is where you will begin building your website and your funnels, and it’s also where you will find the tools you need to monitor your stats and find help when you need it.

The Right Side Bar.

On the right hand side of your DropFunnels dashboard is where you will find the tabs to your DropFunnels features and all of your available modules. Everything you need to get started is here, and everything you need to track your progress is here as well. It can look a little overwhelming when you first log in, but remember, if you watch the onboarding video, you will quickly learn your way around.

The Dark Bar.

This sounds a little scary, but the dark bar is actually quite helpful. It’s a black strip across the top of your dashboard where you’ll find four useful icons that direct you to customer support, available training videos, the Facebook community, and the marketplace. Anytime you need help with a topic, take advantage of these avenues because pretty much anything you need to know can be found within.

DropFunnels Features.

DropFunnels is packed with beneficial features, and as much as I’d love to tell you about each and every one, I’m going to stick with those which our DropFunnels review team found to be essential features.

DropFunnels For WordPress Website and Blog Creation.

Hands down, our DropFunnels review team agrees that the best feature of DropFunnels is the ability to create a fully functional, super fast WordPress website and blog. This is much more than a landing page builder. With DropFunnels you have a simple drag and drop interface that you can use to tweak and customize premade page templates and blog templates to give your entire website a clean professional look. And I know I’ve mentioned this before, but what makes this so useful is that WordPress handles nearly half of all web content management. This means pulling rank with your website and funnels is already going to be easier just by being built on WordPress.

Websites and blogs aside, with DropFunnels, you can also use the WordPress infrastructure to create your funnels. What that means for you is that your funnels will be able to rank independently of your website on search engines like Google, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo. Before DropFunnels, website ranking was the most common source of organic traffic to your business. With DropFunnels, however, your funnels can pull in organic traffic as well. This means higher visibility and more sales.

Sales Funnel Builder.

DropFunnels funnel builder allows you to highly customize your funnels with a number of different modules. This can be difficult to get the hang of at first, but between the community and the surplus of available training it doesn’t take long to figure it out.

Modules can be dragged to the main funnel builder and customized within the submenu, or you have a number of ready-made templates you can choose from, and everything can be tweaked and edited to your preference.

DropFunnels Flexibility.

While DropFunnels is marketed primarily as a sales funnel builder, it’s good to know that you can do more than build sales funnels. The full range of products available is impressive. With DropFunnels you can create membership sites, recurring subscriptions, fixed price sales, and even split pays and coupon codes.

SEO Tools.

Creating websites, blogs, and sales funnels that rank organically on major search engines require search engine optimization. DropFunnels has an entire tab dedicated to SEO so that you can optimize and test your content before publication to the web.

DropFunnels features also include:

  • Team access.
  • Course creation.
  • Link tracking.
  • Custom URL redirects.
  • Lead quizzes.
  • Payment integration through PayPal, Stripe, NMI, and Authorize.net.

What About The Funnels You Made Before DropFunnels?

If you’re in a business that already has some ClickFunnels funnels, and you’re not sure you want to take the time to go through the process of setting them all up again, don’t be too quick to write off DropFunnels. One thing our DropFunnels review team discovered while testing the DropFunnels platform is that DropFunnels has click-and-done funnel transfer capability for your ClickFunnels funnels. You can easily import your ClickFunnels sales funnels into DropFunnels and save yourself a lot of time and effort.

Why would you want to do this? There may be many reasons, but the main reason is that you can control your funnels, website, blog, payment integration, etc., all in one place. Having everything in one place, is what DropFunnels is about. They are aiming to provide you with a one-stop-shop digital marketing tool to help you implement your online business strategy to its fullest potential. Simplifying your processes is something you should definitely be interested in because it cuts costs and saves resources.

What About Your Existing WordPress Pages?

If you’ve taken the time to set up a website through WordPress, that’s not likely something you want to have to go through again. It’s time-consuming and often frustrating, and I wasn’t exactly sold on the idea of starting over, either. That having been said, because DropFunnels is built on the WordPress infrastructure, it’s not all that difficult to migrate existing WordPress pages into your DropFunnels account. It’s done with a standard WordPress migration tool, which is one of the major benefits of DropFunnels.

Does DropFunnels Handle Email Follow Up?

While DropFunnels doesn’t handle your email followup, it does natively integrate with AWeber, ActiveCampain, Ontraport, MailChimp, InfusionSoft, Constant Contact, ConvertKit, Drip, Mailerlite, SendinBlue, and GetResponse. Pretty much every major email autoresponder is covered, so you will likely have no trouble setting up DropFunnels with your current autoresponder.

DropFunnels Pricing.

DropFunnels Review Of DropFunnels Pricing

DropFunnels is priced in tiers. Depending on your membership tier, you’ll have more or less customization and customer support. Currently prices are locked in for life, as these are legacy accounts. However, a price increase is expected in June 2021.

DropFunnels Pricing:

Much like other multi-functional marketing softwares, how much you pay for DropFunnels depends on what you need it for. If you’re just starting out and you really aren’t sure if DropFunnels is for you. Start with the 14-Day Free Trial and move on to the Starter Plan. If you’ve checked it out and you know it’s what you want, you can move up to the Pro Plan at any time. Also, if you already have a budding business and you have a background in building funnels, websites, and blogs, etc., you can jump right in with the Pro Plan, which will give you access to a broader selection of templates and extras. Whatever you choose, Drop Funnels has very reasonable pricing plans.

One thing I personally appreciate about DropFunnels is that they offer an Agency Plan, and while that obviously won’t be valuable to everyone, it is valuable to people who have already started agencies and who want to build on what they have. DropFunnels’ team features are ideal for agencies, and your traffic limit is much higher than either the Starter Plan or the Pro Plan.

So what are the DropFunnels pricing plans?

Drop Funnels offers three pricing plans: Starter, Pro, and Agency. All of them share the majority of features, though the number of sites and domains changes per plan.

Each plan comes with:

  • Premium Customer Service & Support.
  • Unlimited Mobile-Friendly Pages.
  • Unlimited Sales Funnels & Unlimited Funnel Steps.
  • Custom Checkouts & 1-Click Upsells.
  • Unlimited Membership Sites & Courses.
  • Unlimited Landing Pages.
  • Unlimited Blog Posts.
  • Built-in CRM with Unlimited Leads & Contacts.
  • Professionally Designed Themes.
  • Payment Integration with Stripe, NMI, Authorize.net, and PayPal.
  • Valid SSL Certificate.
  • Custom Domain Mapping.
  • Fast Page Loading Speeds.
  • Drag and Drop Editor.
  • Built-in SEO Framework With Advanced SEO Options.
  • Built-in Link Tracker.
  • Powerful Hosting.

The differences in plans show up in price, number of sites and domains, and number of visitors allowed per month. There are also a couple of special features in the higher pricing plans as well. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Starter – US$49.00 per month plan.
    • 1 Site & Custom Domain.
    • Up to 10,000 Visitors Per Month.
    • No Live Chat.
    • No Free Onboarding Call.
  • Pro – US$149.00 per month plan.
    • 5 Sites & Custom Domains.
    • Up to 250,000 Visitors Per Month.
    • Live Chat.
    • Free Onboarding Call.
  • Agency – US$297.00 per month plan.
    • 10 Sites & Custom Domains.
    • Up to 250,000 Visitors Per Month.
    • Live Chat.
    • Free Onboarding Call.

DropFunnels Options.

It needs to be said that DropFunnels is not simply a sink-or-swim, DIY platform. I’ve already mentioned training; and I’ve already talked about pricing, but now I’d like to talk about options.

With DropFunnels, if you already know what you’re doing, and you want to dive right in, go ahead. However, some of you may not be so savvy. Perhaps you want some guidance on how to begin. Maybe you don’t even know what you want to sell. Or some of you may simply want someone to take the reigns and do the setup for you. With DropFunnels you have 3 available paths:

  • Do it yourself.
  • Do it yourself with guidance.
  • Have someone else do it for you.

What Services Are Offered By DropFunnels?

No matter what plan you have, you have options. You can choose to go it alone and use the provided training to get yourself up and going, or you can opt for DropFunnels consultation services. DropFunnels has a huge team of consultants, web designers, and copywriters. If you feel like these services would benefit you, they can be yours—for a price.

Just like any other business, DropFunnels is always looking for ways to get their services into the hands of their customers. Surely they want to make a profit. Who doesn’t want to make a profit? But it’s not about upselling substandard or unnecessary add ons. Some businesses really want or need these services, and DropFunnels knows that without them some simply won’t succeed. Since DropFunnels’ success is directly linked to how satisfied their customers are, they want to make succeeding as easy as possible. So, even though consultation or design services may come with additional costs, you may benefit greatly from them. It’s up to you to decide whether or not you’re willing to pay extra to get help adding value to your web presence and sales funnels.

What I Most Appreciate About the DropFunnels Platform.

One word: Training. The training available for DropFunnels is, in my opinion, the most impressive aspect of the DropFunnels platform. Anything you want or need to do, you can find videos on it simply by clicking the Training Video icon in the Dark Bar.

Videos aren’t the only training available, however. DropFunnels has an impressive Facebook community that they have invested in on a professional level. You won’t simply find other users in the DropFunnels Facebook group; you will find professionals, and these are paid professionals who are in there working that Facebook community to make sure your questions get answered quickly and correctly. I love community options for any platform, but DropFunnels has really gone the extra mile here.

On top of videos, blogs, and community, there are also the services I talked about before. From consulting to designing, if you need the help working DropFunnels into your online business strategy, it’s available.

DropFunnels Pros & Cons

Everyone wants the pros and cons, and our DropFunnels review team have come up with a few for you to consider.

DropFunnels Pros:

  • 14-Day Free Trial that can easily be extended to 28 days.
  • Training, training, training!

  • WordPress infrastructure.
  • Built-in SEO tools to help you get your pages and funnels ranking.
  • Team access. (This was a huge one for us!)
  • Competitive pricing.
  • Lead quizzes. (It’s in beta, but it’s a nice feature for sure.)

DropFunnels Cons:

  • Limited templates for the Starter Plan.
  • Traffic limits on all plans, even the Agency Plan.
  • No direct followup email tools.
  • Credit card required for 14-Day Free Trial.

Improvements We’d Like To See.

I think everyone in our DropFunnels review team agreed that there needs to be a larger selection of templates to choose from. Surely as time goes on others will be added, and, of course, you can buy templates on the marketplace if you so choose. However, more templates to get started or at least more lower-priced options in the marketplace would be a definite plus.

We’d also like to see some sort of CMS added to the platform, so that integrating an autoresponder would no longer be necessary.

Finally, I would like to see DropFunnels add some affiliate marketing tools to their arsenal. There are a lot of great products out there, and having a personal army of affiliates would be a great addition to any online business strategy.

Things We Could Do Without.

If there’s one thing we can all agree communication is important. However, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. In this case, the welcoming emails can be overwhelming. Maybe we wouldn’t necessarily do without them, but fewer would be good.

DropFunnels Review Conclusion.

Overall, our DropFunnels review team agreed that DropFunnels is a stellar product with a lot going for it. We loved the training, the community, and the services that DropFunnels offers, and we like the WordPress infrastructure. Being able to rank your funnels on search engines is a big deal, and DropFunnels is designed to get your website, blog, and funnels seen. With a 14-Day Free Trial that can be easily extended to 28 days, and the massive amount of support to get you going, we’d say it’s definitely worth your time to check out.
